Attribution & licensing

This is an unofficial, non-commercial community archive of guidesnotincluded.com, an Oxygen Not Included guides site created by Some Random Finn. The original site is offline; these pages were rebuilt from the Internet Archive and reformatted from the original Wix HTML into Markdown.

Original author

All guide text is the work of Some Random Finn (guidesnotincluded.com). In their own words from the site:

"Hiya, I'm some random Finn. […] The resources, guides and builds put together by the community have been a huge help in learning how to piece together an acceptable existence for my dupes. I created this site to give back to that wonderful community."

Licence

The author published the guides under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). Their statement, preserved on the Complete Beginner's Guide:

"This guide is published under a CC-BY-NC-SA license. Which basically means non-commercial use/reuse of my scribblings is fine."

This archive redistributes that text under the same licence:

  • Attribution — credit Some Random Finn / guidesnotincluded.com. Each page links back to its original URL and the Wayback snapshot it was built from.
  • NonCommercial — this archive carries no ads and is not monetised; please don't reuse the content commercially.
  • ShareAlike — this reformatted archive is itself offered under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0; redistribute derivatives under the same terms.

Changes made in this archive

Pages were crawled from the Wayback Machine, the main content was extracted from the original Wix HTML, converted to Markdown, and images were saved locally. Site navigation and boilerplate were removed. Some pages are incomplete where the archived captures were themselves incomplete.

Images

The author noted that images come from several sources — the Oxygen Not Included Wiki, their own gameplay footage, and images by Klei. Images are therefore not all the author's own work and are not covered by the CC licence above. They are reproduced for non-commercial archival/reference use.

Oxygen Not Included, its screenshots, art, and assets are © Klei Entertainment, used under Klei's community/fan-content allowances. All rights remain with Klei. ONI Wiki imagery remains under the wiki's terms. Rights holders may request removal via the project's GitHub issues.

Build & technique credits

Individual builds are credited in-page to their creators, including Francis John, Jahws, Mullematsch, and the wider Oxygen Not Included community (Reddit, Steam, YouTube). Those credits are preserved.
